Ingredients
- 1 cup corn meal
- 1 cup flour
- 1 each onion; minced
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 each egg; beaten
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoon butter or margarine

Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients together, add rest of the ingredients.
- Mix to form a smooth batter. Drop by teaspoon full into
- hot oil, don't crowd, and cook until golden brown. You can
- actually add any seasoning that you would like such as
- sage, basil, oregano, etc. Use about 1 teaspoon of each to
- add flavor. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce such as
- Ranch, Ketchup, Gradma’s Dressing, Honey, etc ....
